May 19th- Business After Hours!! Starting at 5pm at Farm Bureau Financial Services! Stop by and check out their new location at 315 E Wichita Ave, Russell!

May 21st- KRSL's Royal Alumni Youth Baseball Clinic!! Starting at 12pm at the Memorial Park Complex. This clinic is fun, free and open to any area boys and girls ages 7 to 14.

May 22nd- Opening Exhibit Reception!! Starting at 5pm to 8pm at the Deines Cultural Center! New exhibition is Vintage Movie Posters and Original Art by Black Hills State University Art Professor, Dave Wilson from Spearfish, South Dakota. The exhibit will be on display from May 22nd to June 26th! Admission is free and everyone is welcome!!

May 23rd- 17th Annual Alumni Hog Roast!! Starting at 11am at the Lucas Community Theater! Roast Hog with Baked Beans and fixing by Donations! Purchase chances for the "1 Year Movie Pass" to be drawn in Sept. Women of the Church will have a Bake Sale in the Theater Community Room. Watch for other activities in Lucas on May 23rd. All proceeds go towards the Theater Operations! Come enjoy a great meal!

May 23rd- Luray Alumni Dance! Starting at 9pm on Main Street in Luray! Sister Whiskey will be playing!

May 23rd-July 5th: Kansas Originals Photo Show!! Starting May 23rd to July 5th at Kansas Original Market & Gallery. The Post Rock Opportunities Foundation invites you to enter the Kanas Originals 2015 Photo Show! The contest is open to any Kansas Photographer. Entry fee is $10 per entry. May 25th- Area Memorial Day Services! Gorham Catholic Church at 9am, Russell City Cemetery at 10am, Bunker Hill Cemetery at 11am and following the ceremonies the VFW and the American Legion in Russell will host an open house at their Posts. Bunker Hill Museum is hosting a dinner starting at 12pm at the Bunker Hill Community Building and the Bunker Hill Museum will be open from 2-4pm. Dorrance American Legion at 10am and meal following the ceremony. Natoma Catholic Cemetery at 9:30am, North Immanuel Cemetery at 10am, Paradise City Cemetery at 10:30am, Natoma City Cemetery at 11am. Dinner at the Natoma American Legion Hall at 12pm.

May 26th-June 26th: USD 407 Summer Food Program!! The USD 407 Summer Food Program begins on May 26th thru June 26th. The meals will be served from 11:30am to 12:30pm Monday-Friday! These meals will be free to all children ages 1 to 18. There is no income requirements or registration. Fore more information, please contact the USD 407 Central Office at 785-483-2173.
