January 9-Learn How to Start a 501c3 Non-Profit-Starting at 7pm at the Dream Theater!  If your organization is wanting to apply for grants for community efforts and projects and you are not currently a 501c3, here is your opportunity to learn the process.  There is no fee to attend, just RSVP by Jan 8th by calling Russell County Eco Devo & CVB @ 785-483-4000 or e-mailing rced2@russellks.org



January 9-What's Up in Russell Coffee-At 8:15am at the Russell Rec!  Come out and listen to what is happening in Russell and see what the Russell Rec has to offer!


January 10-After School Movie-From 3:30 - 5pm at the Russell Public Library!  This is for all ages!  Popcorn and drinks will be served!!

January 14-Classic Film Series-From 12pm - 3pm at the Russell Public Library!  Relax, color, converse!  Refreshments will be served.  Come and go!


December 30-80s Night-STarting at 2pm at the Dream Theater.  Come out and watch this classic Michael Rennie film.  Admission is FREE.  Cash only for concessions.


January 14-Soup Supper at Trinity UMC-STarting at 5pm at the Fellowship Hall of Trinity United Methodist Church in Russell.  All proceeds will benefit the 2019 mission work team to UMCOR in Louisiana.


January 18-Let's Try It-From 3:30pm - 5pm at the Russell Public Library!  This month it is a mystery so stop by the library to see what they're up to!


January 19-YA Game & Nacho Night-From 5pm - 7pm at the Russell Public Library!  You will be playing games and eatiing nachos!  Bring a friend and be entered into a drawing!


January 20-Sip & Paint-At the Grassroots Art Center in Lucas!  More info to come.


January 20-Russell City Fire Dept Benefit Ball-From 8pm to midnight at VFW Post 6240!  Tickets are $15 for the event and can only be purchased in advance.  For tickets contact 785-483-7111!

January 20-Kill Creek Rising-From 7-11pm at the Luray American Legion!  $10/person at the door!  Come out and kill the winter blues and listen to some good music!  Do you need a sitter?  Bring your kids ages 1 & above to the Luray Community Center from 6:30 - 11:30pm!  $10/child, please RSVP by January 12th to Malinda @785-324-0060 if you would like a babysitter!!  There will be snacks, games and movies provided for them!


January 21-D of I Soup Luncheon-From 11am - 2pm at the Gorham Senior Center.  There will be homemade soups, bread, desserts, and a country store with homemade goodies to take home with you!

January 23-Farm Talk-From 7pm - 8:30pm at the Dream Theater!  Join us to learn the latest value added Ag efforts locally and network with Ag producers that have the same interests as you!  RSVP by Jan 19th by calling 785-483-4000 or e-mailing rced2@russellks.org

January 27-Waldo Lions Club - Soup Supper-Starting at 5:30pm at the Waldo Senior Center.  Come enjoy homemade soup in Waldo!
